His role shifts from pursuer of accomplice Eddie Caputo to witness of supernatural events. This skepticism is shattered when Chucky's body bursts through a heat vent to attack him. Following this assault, Norris shoots Chucky's body through the heart, finally killing the entity.

The narrative arc for Jack begins with Eddie Caputo fleeing the scene while Jack pursues him after Ray invokes a voodoo spell. Later, during the climax at the Barclay residence, the atmosphere is tense as Karen and Andy attempt to kill Chucky by setting him on fire. When the doll appears dead, Jack arrives, firmly refusing to believe the story of a possessed toy. His disbelief turns to shock when Chucky's body bursts through a heat vent and attacks him directly.
